Nails not holding?
If a tip pops off in the first day or two, the cause is almost always the prep step before the glue tab goes on. A few minutes of preparation makes the difference between a 2-day wear and a 10-day wear.
Prepping is the key
We get that you want to wear your dafies right away, but it is easy to skip a step during application. A good prep means the glue tabs attach properly to your natural nail, and the press-on attaches properly to the glue tab.
What to do before the glue tab
Push your cuticles back so the tip can sit flush against the nail bed. Buff the surface of the natural nail lightly with the included mini file to remove shine. Then wipe each nail with an alcohol wipe and let it air dry for a few seconds.
Do not rinse with water after wiping, and avoid hand cream or cuticle oil right before applying — any residue weakens the bond.
What to do during application
Use a glue tab that covers as much of your nail as possible without touching the skin. Press the tip down firmly for the full 10 to 20 seconds and resist the urge to wiggle it into position while the tab is setting.
